Our themes are primarily released under the GPL. In the case of Joomla! templates, some images and CSS (the designs) are to remain © Simplethemes LLC, but we pass on a very loose license to our members which allows them to use in personal and client sites without any visible frontend attribution.
In short, yes - There does not need to be any visible frontend attribution to Simplethemes, however we ask that you leave in tact any commented PHP or XML code. This not only protects our work, but our customers as well. In order to preserve version integrity and unique quality, we prefer our designs to be limited and exclusive to our members.
Customization
Yes! We highly encourage this. In order to make the design unique to your application, each theme is provided with layered/sliced graphic source files. The source files are created in either Adobe® Fireworks or Adobe® Photoshop.
Our CSS files are also very well commented, making it simple to perform tasks such as changing link colors, customizing fonts, sizes, etc. From time to time we will provide written and video tutorials to help you learn. If you have a request, please don't hesitate to ask in our forums. We'd love to see what you can do!
Support
We provide an amazing support service through means of our forum. Using a forum allows the entire Simplethemes community to benefit from one another's experiences which helps to build a thorough documentation platform.
We support just about all things themes; Design, CSS, PHP, XHTML, and help resolve any third party display issues.
Our support services are available around the clock, however our official hours are:
Monday - Friday: 6am to 10pm CST
Saturday - 8am to 2pm.
Sunday - We keep an eye on things, but we hope you'll take the day to rest :)
