Slider - Featured Image not Displaying

Hi,

I’ve been scouring over the theme trying to figure out why the images I have set up in my slides are not displaying for me.
I’ve got the slideshow set up with 2 slides on the front page and the text shows but no image. On the Onyx options I’ve ticked the boxes to generate thumbnails from featured images.

Under the Slides section in Wordpress I have set up the slides under the slideshow books and added a featured image to each slide. When I try to preview the slide an icon comes up with the ? where it looks like the image should be. On the slide setting I have thumbnail left selected, thumbnail size is 250, 350, text filled in for the button and a url to a different page, the link target is in the same window.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Problem with Blog Post TItle

Hi,

There seems to be a problem with the display of my blog post titles.

Each of the blog post titles, on the Blog page (http://www.apmc-consulting.com/apmc-consulting-blog/) includes remnant code that partially repeats the title.

SAP Data Archiving Resources”>Useful SAP Data Archiving Resources

This problem does not occur on the individual post or in the widgets that list the blog entries.

Any idea what I can do to fix this?

Issue with the text to the right of the slider

On my site (http://www.nativity-cincinnati.org/school) we have text to the right of the slider. This text should have line breaks in it (its a total of 3 paragraphs) which do show up in the backend but not on the front end. Any idea what I am doing wrong or how to fix this?

Wide image in teaser?

I’m trying to find a way of showing a panoramic image (aspect ratio 3:1) in the teaser in such a way that it fills the available width of the screen (up to 1800pxiels wide), but the rest of the page stays just the same. Is there any relatively easy way to go about it or does this fundamentally break the theme because it would be outside the grid?

Exclude slideshow from mobile?

Whats the best way to exclude a slideshow from a mobile screen?

I have a slider in the teaser widget and while it looks very good on a big screen I dont think it adds very much to the mobile user experience. Is it easier to hide the widget or the slider?

Problem with header in Orion theme

I’m having a problem with the header in the Orion theme. At the very top the white bar does not extend to the far right edge when the page is loaded. To the right of Contact Us.

I *think* this started when I was trying to insert the logo image, however that has been a couple weeks so my memory could be wrong. I actually forgot about it until now…

Can you tell me what I need to change?

ps: this is probably more of a true wp question, but could you point me the right direction? I have this on a test domain and will soon need to move it to the real domain. I’ve noticed all the image links, etc have the full url and not relative links. How can I move this content, etc to the real domain?

Landing page with sidebar

Fluid Columns - 2x 1/6 + 1x 2/3 doesn’t compute / Element Theme

I just found a “mathemaically funny” issue..

Edit: This happens using post or pages, with or without menue-columns.

Mixing Fluid Columns is working well for me. Thanks a lot for this feature.
That “third” “fourth” are getting multiplied to “thirdS” “fourthS” as shorcode, but “fifth” “sixth” remain themselves is a little confusing to me, but anyway - this works.
Mixing “half” with “sixth” or so is working well.
Mixing 2x “one_sixth” with “one_half” or with “one_third” ist working.

What’s not working than?
Mixing 2x “one_sixth” with “two_thirds” results in ... “two_thirds” in a new line - automatic linebreak. Whoops!

The spareplace should be convenient:
1 = {2x 1/6 = 1/3} + 2/3

Same issue with
{2x 1/4} + 1/2 = 1.
1/4 + 3/4 = 1.
These aren’t working either.

Seemingly ...
... every time I try to fill up a row completely with predefined fluid columns, I’m getting into this.

Leaving the row’s last part comlletely undefined as regular content isn’t matching with my content, producing {other/new} linebreaks I don’t want to see (f.e. between pictures), text is than behaving “in the usual flow”.

Btw: Usig third-third-third_last with pictures results in positioning the last picture at the columns bottom.

I’m getting closer ...
1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 filled with text works.
The major problem seems to occur doing “mixing-maths”.

1/6 + 1/6 + 2/3 filled with text doesn’t work - linebreak for last columne. Last shortcode [/two_thirds]

1/6 + 1/6 + 2/3 filled with text doesn’t work correctly - NO linebreak for last columne. Last shortcode [/two_thirds_last]. BUT ... the last shortcode ist written / displayed in the posting.

1/6 + 1/6 + 2/3 filled with text visually correct - NO linebreak for last columne when using NO last shortcode at all {last block remains “open”/“unclosed”}. This isn’t something I’d like to use when posting by email - to have to figure out, when or not I’d use a closing shortcode or not.

Suggestion:
Making [..._last] always working logically as final shortcode to be used in a row. Is there an occurency of [..._last], then linebreak. Isn’t there any, then no linebreak.

Hint: You can “get stopped” even unpropper working columns-automatism by setting “

” after the last fluid-columns shortcode used.

So ... at last ...
... any idea how to resolve this mixing-issue?

HTTPS Redirect

I have installed the Wordpress HTTPS (SSL) plugins after getting an SSL installed. However, Chrome is throwing error and upon troubleshooting, the following content looks to be not HTTPS protected.
