Mobile View Shows Bracketed Codes
The mobile view of my theme is very nice; thanks for that.
However, some code—mostly the code in brackets I think—shows up when I look at it from my Android phone. For instance, the [callout] code, or the [tabgroup]. (See jcdems-wv.org.)
Any idea what to do about that?
I’m not sure what you mean. All content is suposed to show up.
The word (or code name) in brackets shows up in addition to the content, such as “[tabgroup]”, “[tabtitle ...]” “[callout]”, etc.
I have an image but your support states, “We are unable to accept file attachments at this time”.
It looks like you have some plugin or setting installed that forces a different theme on mobile sites. The purpose of a responsive theme is to be all-inclusive for mobile and desktop. Other themes do not share the same shortcodes.
It may be the newish Jetpack Mobile Theme. (I had that activated prior to your mobile version.)
Deactivated the Mobile theme (you have to click on “Learn More” to get the button to toggle to “Deactivate”); results are inconsistent across phones but definitely improved (maybe inconsistency is caching issue).
