How do I create a main Blog Post page where visitors can preview the first part of a post and choose to click in to read more?  just like on the sample Presstige site.

Also, what does it mean “Sticky”

You can use the <!—more—> tag to separate the intro text from the main article.

Sticky just means to stick it to the top.

OK I am thoroughly confused.  I want to make a blog page that all of my first post show up.  I understand what the More Tag does, but how does it know where to re-direct to.  Prior to that, do I just create a new page for the start of each blog post?

I’ll do my best to explain.
First of all, (as you may know) you can set up your home page to be a static page or your latest posts:
http://www.simplethemes.com/tutorials/help/home-page-setup

Regardless of where you choose to display your latest posts (on your front page or on a blog page) by default WordPress will display the entire post contents. If you add the <!—more—> tag to a post, WordPress will split it in two and add a “read more” link. When clicked, the user will see the entire contents of the post.

Hello,

How do I create a blog page like this one on the sample site? http://demos.simplethemes.com/presstige/blog

When I create a new page, blog is not an available template.

The blog is a series of blog posts. Once you create a series of posts specified in the directions above, this is what your blog looks like.
