Featured front-page slider not working
I am having difficulty getting a ‘slideshow’ of certain posts to appear on the front page, as seen in the sample. I have read the advice on how to create slideshows, but one step calls for clicking ‘insert slideshow’ in the ‘add new post’ editor. I do not think I have this ability. Specifically, this does not appear for me when I am editing a post: http://www.simplethemes.com/images/lessons/creating_slideshows/Inserting_Slideshows_in_Content.png
Instead, I only have options to bold/italicize/ insert code.
Here is the site. http://justice.usc.edu/. If it would help to have login details please let me know and I can PM those.
If you don’t see the slideshow button, you may be working in the code editor instead of the visual editor.
It is in the visual editor—that is the strange thing. Here is what my visual editor looks like: http://i53.tinypic.com/5v6kvk.jpg
Also, do you know how I can access the content template? I am trying to find a way of making a new page with the content template, rather than copying the source code from the demo.
That’s very strange.
Did you upload the entire contents of the theme including all folders and subfolders?
Do you know if there are any server restrictions or plugins causing errors?
Feel free to send me a private message containing your wp-admin info and I’ll be glad to take a look.
