Changing tab width

Greetings,

I've tried to style the tab/headings directly but nothing seems to change the overall width of the tabs.

For example, if I have 4 tabs, I want each tab to take up 25% of the overall size of the container.

I've tried styling the <h2> heading within the tab, I've tried putting the heading within a <div> tag and styling the <div> but no go either.  I don't want this for ALL tabs, just on a page here or there.

Suggestions?

The actual tab widths are set in CSS which means they’re standard. The only way I can think of modifying the widths is to add several no backspace tags (&nbsp;) inside the tab title:

&nbsp;&nbsp;Tab Title&nbsp;&nbsp;

I’m not sure if I’m understanding your question 100%, but for the tab headings inside the tab area, you can embed other shortcodes within the content of the tab such as [one_half] etc…

Example of both here:

Here is a quick mock-up of what I was saying.

Thanks for the response!
