Slider Cache Issue

I hate that everytime I upgrade I must reset the cache folder to writeable again.

All my other themes/sliders use a folder in Uploads to prevent that.

Also it appears you use an older “opcode cache” type cache for thew sliders and it is not compatible with suPHP which I also use on all my other sites. I know it is a big request but if you could look at your slider cache setup at some point it would be great.

If you create a file named timthumb-config.php in the synapse-child folder with the following contents, you can set the cache directory to the uploads folder:

<?php
 define ('FILE_CACHE_DIRECTORY', '../../uploads/cache');
 ?>

Also it appears you use an older “opcode cache” type cache for thew sliders and it is not compatible with suPHP

Running suPHP requires permissions of 755 rather than 777.

This worked a perfectly for the upgrade issue. I will test suPHP later and report back.
