On my slider, under the title text, my font has a shadow effect.  How do I eliminate the shadow effect and make it just a regular black text with no effect?

Thank you!

Hi, In style3.css…

to remove the slider paragraph text-shadow, change:

#showcase p {
 color: #000;
 text-shadow: #cfea87 1px 1px 0;
 font-size: 22px;
 line-height: 140%;
 margin-top: 8px;
}

to:

#showcase p {
 color: #000;
 text-shadow: none;
 font-size: 22px;
 line-height: 140%;
 margin-top: 8px;
}

To remove the slider heading text-shadow, change:

#st_slider h3 {
 color: #000;
 text-shadow: #c6e081 1px 1px 2px;
 font-size: 36px;
 line-height: 100%;
 border-bottom: none;
 font-weight: bold;
 letter-spacing: -1px;
}

to:

#st_slider h3 {
 color: #000;
 text-shadow: none;
 font-size: 36px;
 line-height: 100%;
 border-bottom: none;
 font-weight: bold;
 letter-spacing: -1px;
}

I made the change in the code but nothing changed on the slider.  Does it take some time for the changes to take effect or is it instant?

Thanks!

No, you shouldn’t have to do anything but refresh. It appears to have worked on my end. If you’re still seeing it, you may want to try clearing your browser’s cache.
