Hello, I have two questions.

1. The black banner at the top of this theme is maroon color but I changed it to black, but when i go to the site, it shows as maroon for a second then changes to black. how can I get rid of the maroon color?

2. If you go to my blog you can see that the text that displays under the image is off. This only happens if I have an image and if the text is a three letter word or less than three letters. you can see on some articles I have put an underscore there so this does not happen. I left the top one alone so you can see what I mean. How can I fix this?

Thank you

For the background color, it looks like you’re seeing a flash of the background color before the image is loaded.

In style1.css, change the #teaser background property from:

#teaser {

background#601009 url(./images/style1/teaser_s1.png) repeat-x 0 top;

to:

#teaser {

background#000 url(./images/style1/teaser_s1.png) repeat-x 0 top;

For the image overflow, it appears there’s a bug with this particular blog layout when the “No Comments” are displayed. You can either disable this from Appearance → Theme Options → Blog Settings or just add this to your style1.css:

body.blog .postmeta {
 overflow
hidden;

max-height20px;
