Hi, the styles for the slider are located in master.css.
You’ll probably need to edit via FTP since master.css doesn’t show up in the theme editor (under Appearance → Editor).

The line you’ll want to change is:

body.light #slider {
 background-color: #f4f4f4;
 -moz-box-shadow: 0 0 10px #bebebe;
 -webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 10px #bebebe;
 box-shadow: 0 0 10px #bebebe;
 margin:6px 6px 0px 6px;
}

Another way to do this is actually part of a tutorial I’m writing. When you place a slideshow with a slug name such as “homepage” or whatever you’ve assigned in the slideshow category slug parameters, the slider is given that unique CSS class.

So, if you only wanted to change the background color of the ‘homepage’ slider, you could just drop this in your style3.css:

#homepage #slider {
 background-color: #900;
}
