I’d like to be able to increase the default font size of the slider caption. On the edit slides page I can insert text in the Slide Caption box but I can’t find a way to change the font size. Is there some way I can do this please? I’m using Mobius Child Theme 1.1

Thanks

Depending on which style you’re using (e.g; style1.css) you can edit that file (Appearance → Editor) and look for the .backstretch-caption rule. Inside, you’ll see the font-size: 2em; rule. Just change it to whatever value you wish e.g; font-size: 24px;

.backstretch-caption {
  position
absolute;

font-weight400;

displayblock;

widthauto;

max-width75%;

bottom0;

right0;

backgroundrgba(0000.5);

padding10px;

font-size2em/* change the font size here */

line-height115%;

color#fff;

displaynone;
  -
webkit-border-radius2px 2px 0px 0px;
  -
moz-border-radius2px 2px 0px 0px;
  -
ms-border-radius2px 2px 0px 0px;
  -
o-border-radius2px 2px 0px 0px;

border-radius2px 2px 0px 0px;

Thanks for the advice. I’ve changed the code as shown below but the slider caption font size has not changed. I altered the : 2em;  to :24px; .....nothing changed. Can you tell me what I’m missing please?

.backstretch-caption {
  position: absolute;
  font-weight: 400;
  display: block;
  width: auto;
  max-width: 75%;
  bottom: 0;
  right: 0;
  background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5);
  padding: 10px;
  font-size: 24px;  /*changed the 2em to 24px */
  line-height: 115%;
  color: #fff;
  display: none;
  -moz-border-radius: 2px 2px 0px 0px;
  -webkit-border-radius: 2px;
  border-radius: 2px 2px 0px 0px;
}
