Is there a shortcut?
Hi, These settings should be found under Appearance → Theme Options → Blog Options.
Is this what you’re looking for?
Not exactly. When I turn off an element, e.g., date, it also disappears from the single view blog post. I want to keep them in single view but remove them from the blog home page.
Gotya. What you’ll need to do is create a directory in your child theme folder named ‘loops’ and pull in the correct file to override. To determine the file, look at Appearance → Theme Options → Blog Options → Default Layout Style.
Take note which blog layout style you’re using. For example, if it’s the 3rd option, then you’ll want to copy:
wp-content/themes/synapse/loops/loop-style3.php to wp-content/themes/synapse-child/loops/loop-style3.php
In this file, find:
<?php st_post_meta(); ?>
and comment it out like so:
<?php // st_post_meta(); ?>
