I have WordPress 4.7 installed with Jetpack 4.4.2 and now my Hero images have all disappeared. If I deactivate Photon in Jetpack the Hero images load again. The logo in my site’s header was loading ok while Photon was enabled, though.

When Hero images weren’t displaying, I attempted to load one by direct URL such as:

https://i2.wp.com/client.domain.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Hero-Image-Service.jpg

Gives the error:

"Error 0004. Unable to load the image."

I read a couple of threads in your Onyx theme forum about making edits to its thumbs.php file but don’t see one like it for Avery. Is the solution to create one and add the code shown here?

Onyx Theme thumb.php

// If ALLOW_EXTERNAL is true and ALLOW_ALL_EXTERNAL_SITES is false, then external images will only be fetched from these domains and their subdomains.
if(! isset($ALLOWED_SITES)){
 $ALLOWED_SITES
= array (

'i0.wp.com',

'i1.wp.com',

'i2.wp.com'

);

Just to clarify, I’ve also added the following to my htaccess file in Hotlink Protection:

https://i0.wp.com
https://i1.wp.com
https://i2.wp.com
https://i3.wp.com
https://i4.wp.com

Even with those servers added, Hero images still don’t display when Photon is enabled.
