Hello,

I am trying to have my slideshow span from page edge to page edge as seen on the site
https://www.simplethemes.com/wordpress-themes/theme/mobius

So I would like the slide show
1. up against the bottom of the navigation bar and—So this would be to remove the page name so the image can be pulled upward.
2. to span edge to edge.

I assume there is documentation here so could you point me to the tutorials or documentation that allows me to do this?

Thanks

There are a few ways to achieve this.

Option 1 would be to use the built-in slider. You can see a video tutorial here:

Option 2 would be add a Widget to the Teaser location:

You can also invoke a slider using the [slideshow] shortcode as indicated here:
http://themes.simplethemes.com/mobius/shortcodes/#slider

If you’re looking to do the above using PHP, you can always add a specific slideshow via PHP in your template.

echo do_shortcode('[slideshow effect="slide" category="8" width="600" height="250" autoplay="true" speed="1000" pagination="true" prevnext="true"]');

I too have a problem with the slideshow. I took Option 1, but there is always a black margin on the side (i tried with various picture sizes). And the next problem is, that it is not responsiv - the picture ist deformed on smaller devices.

@tiaweis can you open a new thread or share a link to the issue you’re having as well as any information to recreate the problem.
