Simple WordPress Themes

I have a Meta Widget showing up on my blog page?  I can’t seem to find out where to edit or remove it.  I look in widgets and don’t see it.

This is a default widget. It will be disabled when any other widget is activated in its position.

As a novice with Onyx, I’m having the same problem.  In my case, I want my links to show up but not the Meta stuff:

I think I’ve tried to replace the default with another widget but I must not be doing something right.  So I guess I don’t understand “...when any other widget is activated in its position.”
