Featured image on the single post page

hi Casey,
I’m wondering if there is a way to take the featured image off the post page.
As you can see from this post:  “example featured image post”
It is adding both the image, and the featured image which are the same. I would like to have the featured image only show up on the excerpt for the front page, but not on the single post.

If you go to the Image Options tab in the theme options you can disable the Generate Thumbnails for single posts.
