I had a few questions about 125x banners.
I have two banners that I added to one of my pages by creating a widget then changing sidebar layout to right. I had a few questions:
1. How do I add white space between banners?
2. Prior to adding these banners I had a sidebar-left with menus(like this page: http://www.seamlessremodeling.com/services/windows/) but now when I try to change to sidebar-both the sidebars are both on the left and side of the page and my central content is all the way right. Do I need to follow a specific order of operations to not have one throw off the other?
3. Presently the page with banners is my only page with sidebar-right. If I change any other page to right I get these same banners. How do I set these banners to only the pages I want?
4. Is there a better way to do these banners that I am missing?
1.) The Banner Widget you’re using is intended for 125px x 125px square images like on this page:
You might do better just making a text widget and inserting your HTML manually.
<div style="text-align:center"> <a href="http://www.seamlessremodeling.com/contact-us/"><img src="http://www.seamlessremodeling.com/wp-content/uploads/Special 200x150 copy.png" alt="" /></a> <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.seamlessremodeling.com/contact-us/"><img src="http://www.seamlessremodeling.com/wp-content/uploads/Estimate Image 320x180 copy.png" alt="" /></a> </div>
2.) You can set the column order in the theme options:
Appearance → Presstige Options → Layout and Appearance → Three Column Layout Order
(set to Left | Content | Right)
3.) By default, widgets will display on all Pages. You can install the Dynamic Widgets plugin to select which individual Page each widget should be displayed.
4.) Yes, see above
Thanks, the text widget worked great!
