broken image on homepage slider
I am using the Presstige theme and the default homepage slider.
The images do not appear--I see a broken link icon instead. The captions for each image appear correctly.
What am I doing wrong?
It looks like your host is having some issues with the timthumb script. Can you make sure the permissions on the theme's cache folder are writable by the server?
The folder: wp-content/themes/presstige/cache/ should be at least 755 or 777.
one the homepage I have the latest posts listed. I would like to have the post thumbnail appear there (the shortcode is set to "true" for thumbnails), but they never appear. Instead, I see the broken image icon. In the post, the image is set to be a "featured image"; fullsize; and I insert into the post.
are these related issues?
We have had several strange issues with the farmcafe.org site--unrelated to the theme. I suspect a virus or some problem with the isp. In any case, I am rebuilding the site with a new ISP but am having the same problems I described in my earlier post above--when I built the site the first time. Maybe related to the tilde in the temp url? I followed these steps to fix the timthumb code, but to no avail:
I am not sure what you did to fix it the first time, but can you do it again?
The temp site that is having this issue is here:
The thumb for the recent posts image is "not found". The permissions on the cache folder are 0777.
