Hey, I have been using contact form 7 on my site to capture emails. However, I am not being able to style it the way I want.

The basic problem I am having is that I am not being able to get the email field and the submit button on the same line. I tried reducing the width of the field as well but no success. Support at wordpress.org tells me it is a theme related issue - any clue what I should be doing?

Thanks

Try adding this to your CSS:

form.wpcf7-form input {
 float: left;
 width: 170px;
 margin-top: 18px;
}
form.wpcf7-form .wpcf7-submit {
 float: right;
 width: 90px;
 margin: 0;
}

I'm having a similar issue - in that I want to put a drop down element on the same line as other items so that the labels and elements are like this on one line:

City [text field] State [drop down of state abbreviations] Zip [text field]

I tried to find the CSS item to modify but I must be looking in the wrong files. Thanks!

@ExtReach2 If you can show me an example of the page, I might be able to better help.

I think I had a conflict of widgets or plugins. I cleared out the unused items and magically the fields are on the same line.
